It’s not simple for either the Employer (hopefully not a huge profit making organisation that has a well established emploee engagement process – unless its looking to branch into Community Activity for example) as there are criteria to meet and resolve with the taking on of Community Placement people.
Individuals too who are asked to go to Placements are going to have lots to remember or think about for the first time – we ‘oldies’ have woken up with the alarm and found our way to work remorselessly and can flip back into the habit – but others who are new have a whole raft of things to think about. Expenses being a prime consideration, transport, lunches, what to wear, having enough funds to make sure the fortnight goes smoothly, still applying for jobs. Internet time –
